Superintendent Hotel for Costa Cruise Ships (f/m/d)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee maintenance of hotel facilities on assigned ships, including budget management and inventory control.
  • Plan and execute hotel projects and maintenance programs (planned and unplanned activities, improvements, refits).
  • Foster safety and environmental protection through collaboration with vessels and shore-based departments.
  • Manage drydock projects from planning to execution and commissioning, including budget forecasting and control.
  • Cooperate with Costa Sea & Land Experience department and liaise with external parties for special projects.
  • Manage external services: build technical specifications, guide offers and negotiations, check reporting, and follow up on works.
  • Perform regular inspections and audits on: Hotel maintenance and condition standards, HESS Compliance, Company procedures, and policies as well as Regulatory matters.
  • Cooperate with fleet team and Costa Sea & Land Experience department for timely reporting and resolution of findings and issues.
  • Plan, manage, and supervise the Facility Riding Team according to work schedules, replacing external contractors on assigned ships.

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Naval Engineering, Naval Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Interior Design
  • Professional training in design, architecture or technical engineering desirable
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Cruise sector or equivalent
  • Data Bases and Analysis (office package: Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • AutoCAD (reader is sufficient)
  • Technical Drawings reading and understanding
  • Good management / leadership skills for projects
  • Strong organization, delegation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to details and structured way of working
  • Shore based experience is preferred
  • Very good English language skills
